Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 10, 2019, the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (the “DLA”) of the Department of Defense notified Liquidity Services, Inc. (the “Company”) that the option periods on the Scrap and Salvage Recycling Term Sale (Sales Contract Number 16-6049-0001) between the DLA and the Company (the “Scrap Contract”) will not be exercised. The phase-out period under the Scrap Contract began on June 10, 2019. The Scrap Contract will conclude at the end of its base term on September 30, 2019.
